With seating for up to 230 guests or 400 standing, surrounded by all seven of our kitchens and our impressive 10-metre bar, the main hall is the ideal setting for large-scale events with the option to bring in your own entertainment to personalise your event.

For food and drink, you can choose to offer a buffet-style setup or allow guests to order freely from all of our kitchens and the bar.

Semi-circular in design, with floor-to-ceiling windows and uninterrupted views across the seafront and Brighton’s iconic piers, this impressive space is ideal for larger groups. Located on the 1st floor overlooking the main hall, the area offers exclusive access to all five balconies with retractable doors. The space can accommodate up to 105 guests seated or up to 150 standing with furniture removed. Private hire also includes access to food and drink packages from all of our kitchens, making it perfect for standout events of any style.

Tucked away on our first floor with stunning sea views, the Skylark Cocktail Bar is a fantastic space for groups of up to 50. Exclusive hire includes access to a private bar, a full drinks selection, and food from all seven of our kitchens. With bespoke layout options, the ability to plug in your own music, and support from our team throughout the night, Skylark is the perfect setting for an unforgettable event.

For larger event and full takeovers, Shelter Hall offers exclusive whole venue hire, providing a flexible and impressive space for up to 620 guests. You’ll have the freedom to plan your ideal layout across all of our spaces, including the main hall, mezzanine, Skylark Cocktail Bar, five sea-view balconies and our private dining room.

Food and drinks can be offered buffet-style or served across all seven of our kitchens and bar, giving your guests a variety of options to enjoy throughout the celebration.

With space for up to 12 and its very own Shelter Hall signature porthole window. Our private dining room is perfect for small gatherings, business meetings or a private celebration. Soak up views of Brighton’s famous pier with food from all seven of our kitchens and drinks from our bar brought to you by our staff. With a wall mounted TV and access to audio for the room, we’ve got everything you need.
