Julien Plumart

French pastry master Julien Plumart grew up in the foothills of the French Alps, helping out at his family’s restaurant from a young age. Regular patisserie visits with his mother cemented his decision to become a pastry chef at the age of 15, and over subsequent decades he trained at different pastry schools, cooked as a private chef in St Tropez, and worked for celebrated French chef Raymond Blanc. Julien dropped anchor in Brighton in 2004, opened his first café four years later, and today continues to push boundaries to deliver outstanding patisserie and unrivalled customer service to loyal locals and out-of-town visitors alike. Reaching the final of Channel 4’s Great British Bake Off: The Professionals in 2021 was a career highlight.
